Financial Administrator

Blink is an international single-family office of impact investment and technology professionals. Blink invests in highly impactful investment funds while at the same time developing new foundations and initiatives to support the founding family’s impact ambition. Blink has offices in Amsterdam (HQ), Copenhagen, Barcelona and in the San Francisco area. Blink’s investment scope is global, with a focus on East Africa and Central America.

We are looking for an all-round, hands-on Financial Administrator to join and support the Family Office finance team (based in Amsterdam). In this position, you are part of a team of 4 colleagues and will work closely with our Financial Controllers (and on occasion the CEO).

The successful candidate will be a team player and be able to work independently. Accounting administrative experience is a prerequisite and familiarity with accounting software is extremely useful.

Main reponsibilities

  • Execution and maintaining of the accounting administration tasks of various entities
  • Bookkeeping activities
  • Processing of invoices and execution of payments
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Producing and presenting (periodic) management accounts
  • Assistance with the preparation and compilation of the annual accounts
  • Ad hoc assistance to the Financial controllers and CEO
  • Ambition to work closely with the Financial controllers in optimising the financial processes


The successful candidate will be part of a small and focused team working across a number of businesses and projects and with room to grow due to the expansion of the responsibilities within the Family Office. The following requirements are considered to be essential:
  • A relevant education (e.g. accounting, finance, economics)
  • Proven work experience (accounting)
  • Knowledge of (Dutch) VAT
  • Interested in financial processes and bookkeeping
  • Comfortable with a variety of finance related responsibilities
  • Fast learner with regards to accounting software
  • Hands-on mentality, result and service orientated
  • Flexible, professional, versatile and personable
  • Statutory accounts experience is a plus
  • High level of personal integrity and discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Dutch

What we offer
