Blink CV is an international single-family office of impact and technology professionals, pursuing financially sustainable investments and projects. The family’s investment arm has built a portfolio of early-stage impact venture capital fund investments and direct investments across Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Europe/USA.

We are looking for a talented Impact Associate to join our Impact Team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Chief Impact Officer and working together with the Impact Investments team. You will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and success of our impact strategy, and impact measurement and management frameworks. The position can be based in Amsterdam or Barcelona.

Main reponsibilities

1. Impact Overview
   • Collaborate in the development and improvement of the organisation’s impact frameworks.
   • Ensure that impact frameworks are well implemented and harmonised across the entire Impact Investments portfolio.
   • Contribute to impact research content.
2. Impact Analysis and Reporting
   • Work collaboratively with the Impact Investments team to ensure that robust and consistent impact data is collected and included into the quarterly/annual reports.
   • Design and build dashboards to generate individual and aggregated relevant insights.
   • Responsible for reviewing, analysing, and aggregating social/environmental impact data.
   • Ensure that impact information is being used for the team’s decision-making processes.
3. Project/Investment Appraisal
   • Ensure that impact due diligence is consistently well implemented by the Impact Investments team.
   • Support the Impact Investments team in assessing new and follow-on investment opportunities, supporting the transaction leaders in the full due diligence process and analysis of opportunities.
4. Impact advise
   • Support our investees (particularly impact funds) in developing and/or improving their impact strategy and measurement practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in investments and/or consulting.
• Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree from top-tier university.
• Strong Interest in the Impact Investing sector and/or Private Equity and/or Venture Capital.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills. Experience in analysing and reporting data is a plus.
• Relevant knowledge in impact strategy, impact measurement and management frameworks.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal), Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter.
• Excellent written, presentation and communication skills with a great attention to detail.
• High level of personal integrity and discretion.
